1. Information we collect

FreeGolfSwingAnalyzer.com does not require an account. Opening a video does not upload it. Different parts of the service handle the following information:

• Local swing data: videos, frames, drawings, marked moments and measurements remain in your browser. The app does not send them to our servers or add them to analytics events.
• Optional usage data: if you allow Google Analytics, Google receives information about site visits and usage, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. Requests to Google include ordinary network information such as your IP address. This information should not be assumed to be anonymous.
• Hosting data: Cloudflare serves the site and separately provides page-visit and performance analytics. Loading the site involves normal network requests to our hosting provider.
• Preferences: your analytics choice is saved in this browser’s local storage.

2. How we use information

We use site usage and performance information to understand how the tool is used, improve functionality, fix bugs and maintain the service. We do not sell or rent your swing data or use it for marketing.

3. Cookies and your analytics choice

Essential preferences: local storage remembers whether you allow analytics, under the key golf_cookie_consent. This is separate from your video session.

Optional Google Analytics: the Google tag loads only after you allow analytics, including when returning with a previously saved opt-in. Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure visits. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled by this site.

Choose No thanks to use the studio without Google Analytics. Use Cookie settings to change your mind. Turning analytics off stops further Google Analytics collection by this page and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies for this site. It does not delete information already collected by Google. Your preference also applies to other open pages of this site in the same browser.

If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. Clearing site data removes the saved choice; Google Analytics stays off until you opt in again. We do not currently use marketing cookies.

4. Local video processing

Playback, synchronized comparison, drawing, pose estimation, joint-angle calculation, key-moment previews and PDF export run in your browser. Optional pose analysis uses MediaPipe. It downloads code and model files from jsDelivr and Google; those providers receive normal asset requests, not your video frames.

Videos and session results are held in browser memory and are cleared when the page is reloaded or closed. Reports and images that you choose to save are downloaded to your device and remain there until you remove them.

5. Service providers

When enabled, Google Analytics processes usage data according to Google’s policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.

Our hosting provider’s Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon measures page visits and performance separately from Google Analytics. It does not use analytics cookies. The Google Analytics preference does not control that hosting service. Read Cloudflare’s collection details and Privacy Policy.

We do not provide these services with your video content, drawings or swing measurements.

6. Data retention

Local preferences remain until you change them or clear browser site data. Video sessions are temporary, as described above. Google Analytics and hosting data are retained according to the relevant account settings and provider policies. This page does not promise a fixed retention period for those services.

7. Your privacy rights

You can opt out of Google Analytics without losing any video features. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or object to its use. Contact us below with a privacy request. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

8. Children’s privacy

This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through this service.

9. Security

The production site uses HTTPS. Keeping swing processing on your device avoids uploading your videos for analysis. No online service or device can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the most recent update.
